Hey Howard,

I've not built a DLL from the .exe builder, but when building an .exe,
I've been able to preserve the location of new files just by saving the
build file after updating the path. In Labview 7.0, there are some
options at the bottom of the app builder that allow you to create a new
build file, save, save as, build, etc. Perhaps, there is a difference
between Labview 6 and 7 here.

Hope that is some help,

Subject: [W] Application builder - DLL

Hello,

I would like to move the source files for a Labview DLL
to a different directory. The problem I am seeing is that when I try to
re-build the application (using a build
file) I cannot change the path to the new source in the app builder. I
can direct it to the new location, but it does not store the
new location for next time.

Is there anyway to get the app builder to recognize the source has moved
and to
update the build file with the new path??

NI Software : LabVIEW version 6.0.2
OS : Windows NT

Thanks,
