Hello,

When I use the Write to Spreadsheet File.vi to append data to an
existing Excel file, the data I input doesn't appear in the file.All I
get is replace the Excel file by the new data and I loss the old data.
This is due because Excel changes tab-delimited format. There is a KB
than explains it:

You could use the Report Generation Toolkit to avoid this Excel
formatting. Look at the following KB and you will see that it is
possible:
