I could try to paraphrase it, but if you open up the Flatten Pixmap.vi, you have the source. True, there aren't tons of comments, but on the otherhand, perhaps you just want to use this VI instead of whatever you were about to do. Note that you can also look at the unflatten if that helps. These VIs are in the Graphics Format submenu next to the read and write jpeg VIs. Greg McKaskle
