I've always thought "pro-life" was an incredibly silly expression.  Everyone
-- barring those bent on suicide -- is pro-life, at least pro his or her own
life.  
Pro-choice, BTW, does not necessarily mean the person holding that view
believes in abortion.  I know one woman, and I'm sure there are others, who is
pro-choice and who has decided that the choice for her is the choice not to
abort.  That's a choice, too, and IMO a viable one, so long as she makes it
for herself and not for others.
