Steve Wright <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: Glitter Faces Five New Sex Charges Glam rock star Gary Glitter has been accused of five sexual offences in addition to the 50 indecency charges he already faces. Glitter - real name Paul Gadd - is accused of four offences of indecently assaulting a girl, one dating from 1976 and the others relating to alleged incidents between 1980 and 1983, said Avon and Somerset police. The 54-year-old Seventies hitmaker, who lives in London, has also been charged with another sexual assault on a girl. He has been bailed to appear before North Avon magistrates court on May 18. The singer already faces 50 charges relating to indecent images of children allegedly found stored on a computer he took for repair. He was arrested last November after staff at PC World in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol, allegedly discovered the pornographic images. The rock legend, who has homes in London, Cuba and Wedmore, Somerset, was released on bail while police inquiries were made. He was interviewed again in March after returning from a three-month holiday in Cuba, when officers charged him with 50 counts of making indecent pseudo-photographs of children under 16 under the Child Protection Act 1978. He was also charged with 50 alternative counts of possessing indecent photographs of children and released on bail to appear at North Avon magistrates court on May 18. =================================================== Lifes a beach and I'm on it, Jah Wobble. =================================================== PERSONAL EMAIL TO: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe/Unsubscribe, email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In the body of the message enter: subscribe/unsubscribe law-issues
