WASHINGTON (AP) - A federal judge today denied President Clinton's claims of
executive privilege in the Monica Lewinsky inquiry. The White House could
appeal the ruling, which was confirmed by two officials familiar with the
legal dispute between the administration and Whitewater prosecutor Kenneth
Starr. Any decision to appeal would further delay Starr's investigation into
whether Clinton had sex with Ms. Lewinsky and lied about it. Meanwhile,
prosecutors finished their work with an Arkansas grand jury and turned their
attention back to presidential friend Vernon Jordan.

Of course the White House will appeal the issue and prevent Starr from
getting at the truth. Only two more years and counting. Ron
