If I make my changes to a mirror DB, how does it help to get them finally to 
trunk? Maybe Mercurial and Git have features helping with series of patches, I 
don't know.
I have read about Git architecture and seen a video where Linus praises his 
Git and criticizes heavily both CVS and SVN.
I never used it myself though.

How? My use of revision control has been quite primitive until now.
