I was able to download and install Lazarus&FPC onto Raspberry PI and compile & build & run a GUI project ported from Windows [ only steps needed were disabling generation of Windows executable and selecting a GTK2 interface IIRC in project options] which then ran without any problem. Last time I did that was about 2 months ago, haven't tried since but Lazarus definitively did work native and same did FPC.
