That didn't do it. Next reboot GTK still overwrote the file. He had me do something i'd not used before.


chattr +i .gtkrc

In fact for instance my problem is that I am unable to change the size of font, it doesn't worked!! I haven't a .gtkrc in my home/user directory. I have something like .gtk_gnome_2rc, but it doesn't work. For your information I work with KDE and Gnome is not installed on my debian (I haven't installed Gnome because I don't use it!).
