Hi, After having spent some time with a colleague who knows Suse, and reading the list and the forum, here is my findings:
1 - All the parameters of Lazarus are set in Gnome control-center. 2 - GTK-1 is not used any more. Suse 9.3 and above use GTK-2. On Suse the control center for the GTK-2 is the module "control-center-2" this is different to the old control center module "control-center" for GTK-1. Normally you run the program "gnomecc" (for GTK-1) but another program called "theme-selector-capplet" can not be found... In short: Suse does not support GTK-1 any more! There is no tool to change the settings for GTK-1. 2-The problem is known see: http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&p=8879 Thanks Alain > > The components have a different look ! the scrool bar for example has a > very simple look, just a thin triangle, usually it was a triangle over a > rectangle. Never had trouble with this. The GTK1.x theme that comes with Suse looks a bit oldfashioned... thats normal... When changing the theme, make sure that the changes are correctly written to ~/.gtkrc. Perhaps there is another gtkrc that overwrites the systemwide theme for lazarus. Check ~/.lazarus directory or lazarus path. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
