I'll try, but it is not that simple. Part of the problem may be that Lazarus supplies full (absolute) paths to the compiler (at least in the way I am using it; though I did not change many options from their defaults). However, when I use fpc separately (not with Lazarus), I typically provide relative paths (which are much shorter).
