Hi,

I've uploaded the next preview of the incoming lcms-2.0 at

http://www.littlecms.com/lcms-2.0_preview_march_7.tar.gz

This iteration is more advanced that the previous one, but still is not
complete. The API is almost done, but some parts are still not implemented.

Differences with previous preview:

- Error management now gets a thread id environment, which may be helpful to
track the source of error
- Memory management also gets this parameter
- More support for multithreading
- Gamma curves are gone, superseded by tone curves, which allow segmented
parametric curves. This feature is useful to implement multiprocessing elements
tags.
- API to gamut boundary description routines
- PostScript generation is now working
- CGATS parser is now working. It supports CGATS.13 syntax
- Plug-in subsystems are working
- It compiles and runs on Linux and Mac platforms
- Some other improvements

LittleCMS 2 development is taking a lot of effort, so for this reason I am going
to do a maintenance release of 1.x series, namely lcms-1.18, which will be
released in beta on March-9. The final 1.18 release will be a couple of weeks
after that. Tentative lcms-2.0 release date would be Fall09.

And again, thank all you very much for the reviews and suggestions you are doing
for the lcms-2.0 code base, and for the LittleCMS project in general.

Best regards
Marti Maria
