I think I've missed this in the docs and the sample code, but my  
application is working fine for 8 bit colors and now I need to make it  
work for 16 bit values.

Just exactly does lcms expect for 16 bit Lab?

In particular, I have a pixel with L = 100 = 0x8000 a=b= 0 = 0x4000,  
how do I setup lcms to color convert that?  TYPE_Lab_16 didn't work  
and TYPE_Lab_DBL is clearly wrong.

I'm trying various encodings but I thought I'd ask the experts. Thanks!
