Hi, I sometimes get the error message: Error TIFFICC: Couldn't allocate 4643718666205004336 bytes for profile.
4643718666205004336 is slightly more than 2^62. I only get it when I run tifficc from inside a java server. When I run the same command for the same input files from a terminal, it runs without any problem. tifficc -o EuroscaleCoated.icc -t0 -c2 input.tiff output.tiff Platform: Mac OS X 10.6 Server, 64-bit Intel. Both lcms 1.18 and 1.19 Input files: http://jjj.dancenter.com/pubweb/peters/static/input.tiff http://jjj.dancenter.com/pubweb/peters/static/EuroscaleCoated.icc I've used the EuroscaleCoated.icc for a long time under 32-bit Intel Mac OS X 10.5, so it seems like a 64-bit problem somewhere. As I don't get the problem when running it from the command line directly, and thus can't run it using gdb, is there any way I can debug this? ---- - Peter Speck ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download Intel® Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself.
