Argyll is fine. There are other profilers, either free or commercial. All what you need is a bunch of measurements RGB/Lab. That is, draw an RGB value on the mobile and use a colorimeter to measure the obtained Lab. You can stream the bitmaps by using VNC or just display a big image with all patches... the bigger number of patches, the better the profile. For a mobile you will need a LUT-based profile, Matrix-shaper is not enough in this case. That means 200 patches at least. Remember to turn off any image-processing or enhancement software. You need the native display only. Once you get the table RGB/Lab, create a CGATS file and feed the profiler. Most profilers do accept this format. I did this process and I can assure you it works, but it takes a lot of time and effort to take the measurements. You will only get pleasant results in a dark room, the ambient light/the viewing conditions changes dramatically the perception of colors.
