I checked a little farther and I can't find any D65 profile
specifications (for any D65 profile, not just sRGB) that use any D65
source white xy values other than x=0.3127, y=0.3290.

I also checked the sRGB profile distributed by Adobe. It has the same
white point tag values as Adobe's AdobeRGB1998 profile, which is the
same white point tag values found in the Argyllcms sRGB.icm and
ClayRGB1998.icm profiles, which is produced by using x=0.3127, y=0.3290
as the source white point values.

I'm still curious as to why the LCMS built-in sRGB profile is made using
the CCT 6504K white point. Should it be changed to match the sRGB
specifications?

Best regards,
Elle Stone
