After researching the problem on IBM website, I found the following as fixes
to the HTTP 500 error. Another resolution is not to use IE. It is suppose
to work ok with FireFox.

Is anyone using IBM Tivoli Identity Manager or other products?
more specifically; 4.5.1 FP50 Build 5194 for IBM Tivoli Identity Manager.
I keep receiving timeout errors when trying to view the AUDIT LOG in IBM
Tivoli Identity Manager. It the only way I know to try to troubleshoot
problems on the front end gui software.
Do any of you know of another way of looking at the AUDIT LOG? line
commands..etc?
