Hi all, I want slaves on a lot of nodes (about 100). Reason is that I cant always trust our network, and ldap is used for authentticating important apps. and user login (posix) But I experienced that when I defined 15 slaves in slapd.conf (slurpd) that database corruption occured. I could not determine if this was due to to much slaves or an orher error. (I can not play to much, I only have a production environment) So I have a few questions: -is there a max on the slurpd slaves -otherwise, can i use slaves a replica-hubs in openldap (2.2.26) (couldnt find info on google) -am i better off using syncrepl?
You are likely better off upgrading to OpenLDAP 2.3, and using syncrepl. --Quanah -- Quanah Gibson-Mount Principal Software Developer ITSS/Shared Services Stanford University GnuPG Public Key: http://www.stanford.edu/~quanah/pgp.html --- You are currently subscribed to [email protected] as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word UNSUBSCRIBE as the SUBJECT of the message.
