This does not directly depend on Crossbow but on the NIU (Network Interface
Unit) available on the UltraSPARC-T2 cpu. This provides the ability for a guest
domain to directly access a physical network interface owned by an I/O domain.

That way, unicast network packets can be directly sent/received by a guest
domain to/from the outside world without going through the VSW.

This is ability to add/remove virtual devices and services (vnet, vdisk, vds,
vsw) without having to reboot a domain. For example, you can dynamically
add/remove a virtual disk or a vnet to a guest domain without having to
reboot it.

Another major feature coming with 1.1 (not listed below) is cold and warm
migration of guest domains.
