Hi All, In a recent email thread, I read the following about the migration feature that is part of Ldoms 1.1:
********* Briefly, Cold migration is the ability to migrate a shutdown or "bound" guest domain from one platform to another. In cold migration, you can migrate between different platform and CPU types. Warm migration moves a running guest domain from one platform to another, using a suspend/resume technique. Warm migration has a number of conditions which must be met before the migration is permitted. ********** While I understand cold migration, can someone elaborate on Warm migration and how it affects the running application ?
