Yes, you can do that. However, you will need to reboot at least once, so this will mean interruption of service to your zones.
Please read the introduction to LDoms on how to configure your control domain and any guests: http://www.sun.com/blueprints/0207/820-0832.pdf please bear in mind that for you to have LDom guests, you will need to take away CPU/Memory from your primary, which also hosts your zones. To take advantage of the latest LDom features, I would also recommend you read the release notes to LDoms 1.1 and consider upgrading your OS to Solaris 10 05/09. hth stefan Ketan wrote: > Hi I;ve a T5220 box running solaris 10 update 6 with 6 zones on it and zfs > SAN file systems is it possible to configure Control domain on this box > without removing the exisinting OS and zones ? -- Stefan Hinker Systems Practice - Systems & Performance Sun Microsystems GmbH Tel: +49 6103 752-300 Brandenburger Str. 2-6 Stefan.Hinker at Sun.COM D-40880 Ratingen http://www.sun.de/ http://blogs.sun.com/cmt --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sitz der Gesellschaft: Sun Microsystems GmbH, Sonnenallee 1, D-85551 Kirchheim-Heimstetten Amtsgericht Muenchen: HRB 161028 Geschaeftsfuehrer: Thomas Schroeder, Wolfgang Engels, Wolf Frenkel Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrates: Martin Haering -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
