I have gone through Ldom guide but i do not see any snapshot support mentioned other than ZFS. So if ZFS is not being used , are you suggesting LDom still has inbuilt support for snapshot ? Alexandre Chartre explained concepts behind these snapshots in previous emails in same thread. From that, I am of the opinion that such support is not present in Ldom and we need to use tools from 'backend technology' to take snapshots. Let me know if this is not the case. If there is any link to create LDom snapshot when disk is not ZFS based, please let me know. Thanks a lot. -Rohit
