Questions on HA: As I have read, using a split PCI bus is the best I/O option for redundancy. However, nothing seems to address alternate paths to SAN Luns between I/O domains. Instead, mirroring (within a guest) across I/O domains is discussed, which seems backwards since it requires more SAN allocation and since most SANs are configured with RAID on the back end.
