Customer cannot get network enabled in our guest domains using IPMP in the
control domain. Any suggestions?
        (figure3 from IPMP email string)
        http://docs.sun.com/source/820-3268-10/chapter5.html#d0e9046

On the gdom, we can ping the IP address of vnet0, but not the default
router IP. Is the [mac-addr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx] option in the first
command below optional or required. (Took the [] to mean it is optional)
We have tried with and without mac-addr option. (also with eeprom
macaddr true and false) Attached is a text file with our configs. Are
there additional steps to setting up routing in the Control domain? Does
the vsw0 interface need to be on a different subnet than the interfaces
in the control domain?

Also, if we set up the vsw0 specifying net-dev=e1000g0 we do get network
connectivity but the network fails on the guest domain when we unplug
e1000g0.

This is what we used to set it up.

Control DOM:
------------

ldm add-vsw [mac-addr=xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx] primary-vsw0 primary
devfsadm (rebooted here per command output notice)
ldm add-vnet vnet0 primary-vsw0 ldom

ifconfig bge0 plumb
ifconfig bge0 144.42.14.26 group ipmp deprecated -failover up
ifconfig bge0 addif 144.42.14.25 up

ifconfig bge1 plumb
ifconfig bge1 144.42.14.27 group ipmp deprecated -failover up

ifconfig vsw0 plumb
ifconfig vsw0 144.42.14.29 up

routeadm -e ipv4-forwarding
routeadm -e ipv4-routing
routeadm -u

LDom:
-----

ifconfig vnet0 plumb
ifconfig vnet0 144.42.14.36 up

route add default 144.42.14.29

Jim
