Asa,

The error messages appear to indicate that you are trying to start an 
nfs service in the Sol 9 zone.

NOTICE: /etc/system directive 'set nfssrv:nfs_portmon=1';
    is not applicable in the virtual environment.

Solaris nfs is not / will not be supported in a zone as it is kernel 
based. To use nfs in a zone you will need a thrid party piece of code 
that runs in users land.
