I never received any replies, and I got access to a T5120 and installed Solaris 10 update 5 build 10 in both the service and guest domains, and was able to run ISC DHCP server 4.1.0a1 in both IPv4 mode and in IPv6 mode. I did not due rigorous testing, but clients received IPv4 or IPv6 address.
This was with LDom 1.0.2 *without* the requisite patch, but was patched with 127580-05. I did not attach the service domain to the NIC that the vsw was connected to. I only had one vsw, and one vnet in the guest LDom.
