Hi Have you run vxdiskadm to actually initialise the vx disk groups? so typically I run vxdiskadm create my disk group ), then after that I have say /dev/vx/rdsk/opt_dg
then I run vxassist as in: vxassist -g opt_dg -U fsgen make zonehome 30G mkfs -F vxfs -o largefiles /dev/vx/rdsk/opt_dg/zonehome 30G what does vxprint -hrt say currently, and what veritas software are you using?
