A couple questions came up for me: Have you updated the T5220's firmware? Have you looked at 1.2 of the LDOM software? Have you tried a newer release of Solaris 10?
I know there have been recent improvements in both the virtual device drivers and the hypervisor regarding performance. I can say that I've got a very similar setup, without performance issues - But it's a lab so we're able to keep everything up to the newest versions constantly without affecting any customers. The only thing I'd wonder about is having the two pools on the same disks. ZFS treats zpools in slices differently than whole-disk pools, but I'm not familiar enough with the details yet to speak with any authority :) -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
