Hi, I have a customer with the following questions...
I have LDOMs configured and running on this Sun T5120 server with following details: * LDOM Control domain is running on Solaris 10 update 4 * Guest domains (4) are also running on Solaris 10 update 4 Now, I want to upgrade the control domain to Solaris 10 update 5. The questions are as below: * Is it possible to run the Guest domains on older releases than control domain (for example, Guest running update 4 while control domain on update 5) * What is the best way to upgrade Control domain ? Using CD/DVD media or using Liveupgrade? * Is it suggested to schedule downtime on Guest domains while upgrading control domain?
