I was configuring a few LDom's and noticed it is not necessary to plumb/assign an IP address in the Service/Control domain for the guest domains to have access to the network, correct? If the vnet's are mapped to a vsw that is mapped to a physical NIC, I don't need to plumb and assign an IP address to a vsw.
That's correct. You only need to plumb the vsw and assign an IP address in the service/control domain if you want the guest to be able to communicate with service/control domain. But that's not needed if you just want the guest to access the external network. alex. _______________________________________________ ldoms-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/ldoms-discuss
