You cannot have two IO domains on a T5120, at least not the way you want
to...
The 5120 only has a single PCI bus therefore can only have a single IO
domain...
Well... beong completely factual about this....
... you CAN split the the 10GbE NIU's to a second IO domain, but those
are the only physical devices that IO domain would have (two 10GbE
Ports), so its only a very limited version of a second IO domain (its
still going to need to get boot disks from either its own network ports
(via net boot) or via vdisks from the primary IO domain. This could be
perfect for you if you want to create redundant network paths but not
any use for other PCI devices or storage etc. Generally customers
wanting multiple IO domains go for the T2+ based systems with two or
more PCI buses.
You need to look at the T5140 or better still the T5240 which have two
PCI buses and in the case of the T5240 plenty of PCI card slots to
really let you have as much flexibility as you may need when adding
cards, even better still is the T5440 with more PCI buses and more PCI
slots.
