Does this actually work? It's been a while since I did this, but IIRC,
there were a bunch of things that were left out, like VDS stuff etc...
If we dump primary, and all the guests using only the commands you
specify, would this allow me to completely rebuild, using only a couple
of commands?

and you can do that for each of the guest domains as well replacing "primary"
with the guest ldom name.
When you go to (re)create the LDoms, just use the -i option to pull in the XML
file:
ldm add-domain -i ldom_name.xml
or
ldm set-domain -i ldom_name.xml

We have to replace a motherboard and will likely need to rebuild all the
domains and I don't like the fact that the Control Domain can't be easily
restored via xml files.
