I have tried recently to convert a Sun-Fire-V440 with Solaris 10 10/8 to a

The virtual Server is a T5240 with ldom 1.3 version installed.

i have used the ldmp2v 1.3 version and try to convert the server to ldom with Solaris 10 9/10.
In the end of the convert progress the ldmp2v convert announced "Successfully
Done."

After that the ldom always reboot and reboot and never start.
he show the message - "The / file system (/dev/rdsk/c0d0s0) is being checked"

anyone knows why?

Much appreciated,

Hi,

you are running into 6975211 'Domain continuously reboots and fails to come up on P2V upgrade to s10u9'.

That bug was fixed in version 2.0. You can install and use the 2.0 version of the LDoms P2V tool on LDoms 1.3, so you just need to replace the SUNWldmp2v package to get the fix.
