For those of
you who missed the J.Reuben Clark broadcast fireside on Saturday evening, it was
excellent. Elder Packer gave a moving tribute to R.Reuben Clark,
challenging us to live up to the name.
I'm not sure
if the fireside will be published anywhere or if taps will be
available, but I'd like to know if it is.
Elder Packer
counseled the legal profession to stick to the truth, encourage clients to
settle and to use our skills to defend not only the church but good
people. He noted that "there is no condition that was present in Sodom and
Gomorrah which doesn't surround us now" and "it is going to get
worse."
