Ha! You obviously haven't had much to do with hardware 'standards'. In
software we have KISS as an ideal we aspire to, hardware guys seem to aspire
to the oposite. The PCMCIA developers documentation that I once saw part of
came in about 6 large folders. USB is just as bad if not worse.
