Okay, I just posted the tarball for Kernel 2.2.18 for 486 processors. It
includes all the USB modules, mostly because, as was pointed out to me,
there are USB adapter cards and a small fraction of later 486s came with a
PCI slot or two. It's available at:
http://www.digivill.net/~wolfstar/
I'll be moving these to the SF pages/servers as soon as I can figure out
why the heck I can't login to anything at sourceforge; the shell server is
giving me invalid password, even though it works on the website.
Again, none of these are tested to the point where I can say that anything
works. This is a project for the weekend - my weekend being Sunday and
Monday - which I'm hoping will be successful. If anyone has a glibc 2.0
system for development, I'd greatly appreciate it if they could compile a
copy of usbmgr and send it to me so I can assemble an lrp package and test
the USB support. If you can, e-mail me the compiled package at the e-mail
in my .sig, I don't think it's too large.
Thanks gang.
