Hello all, My name is Hans-Cees Speel and I have just joined this list. At www.hanscees.com you can find my site and under linux you will find a howto on lrp. I used to be a scientist, but now I am fulltime involved in system administration. On the job we use windows mostly, but I am planning to be a linux admin when I can. At home I am already. I am not yet a guru, but growing. I am not a programmer but a smart user and like to write clear and idiot proof user guides. Well actually I like to finish them:-) Writing is often a hard job. I have joined this project because of several reasons: - the official lrp page enraged me. How can you make such a good project, and then keep it from the masses by cryptic and not understandable language? - I would like to know more about the firewall capabilities of kernel 2.4 and work with it.And thus be able to explain to people what they are doing with their firewall. - I would like help to set up some howtos for specific tasks: this includes a setup for my situation in the netherlands with adsl. For some reason they use pptp here, and since adsl is just starting, a clear howto can make a lot of users. This is not so much for myself, i have the connection going with an e-smith server. So far my intro. If I am to do some work, i wil need some companions that can point me to rough setup-guides so i can make howtos. greetings Hans-Cees Theories come and go, the frog stays [F.
