Hello!
I have just subscribed to the leaf-devel list and would like to introduce
myself to you. My name is Angel and I am a biologist working on
Bioinformatics (I started working on Evolution of Sex and Sexual
Selection, but at some point I moved from the lab to the computer, and
here I am :). I am teaching Genetics, Evolution and some Bioinformatics at
the Department of Genetics of the University of Granada (Spain), and doing
research on DNA complexity (computer work with DNA sequences of many
different species) at the Institute of Biothecnology of Granada.
I am, therefore, not a real developer, but more an user of
software. My aportation to the LRP and LEAF project up to know is only one
package (svncv.lrp) and I am currently working on a mini HowTo use Zip
drives with LRP. I am also planing to pack W and MGR soon.
I am very impressed by the quality of LRP and its derivatives
and, of course, by your knowledge and extremely good disposition to help
out newbies (I always consider myself as one of them :). I am therefore
very happy to be here and eager to learn a lot and try to help out when I
can.
