a few gotchas for those who jump to bind 9.1 from 8.2.x:

1) if you chroot, you'll need kernel 2.4
2) the -g switch is gone
3) you have to edit every zone file and put $TTL whatever in the FIRST
LINE of the file -- yes, above the SOA record. If you have a TTL defined
in the SOA and think that covers it because you read the
doc/misc/migration, well tough, it doesn't. Setting explicit TTLs isn't
good enough either. If you don't do this, it will note "no ttl" in the
log and then fail to load the zone.
