These are my future directions for Oxygen - or things to do:
* Debug and verify VFAT support
* Create a bridge image using glibc 2.1
* Create an amateur packet radio image using glibc 2.1
* Make the glibc 2.1 image such that it can be used as a CDROM boot
image with little or no changes
* Investigate using GRUB for glibc 2.1 image
* Investigate going to glibc 2.2
This latter........... my idea would be thus:
# cd CDROM
# cp ../oxygen-2.1.3-current.ima ./boot.ima
# mkisofs <.....>
...tada!
The only change I could see as required would be switching the default
syslinux.cfg configuration to use the cdrom instead - and even this
can be specified at the boot prompt.
I'm also considering the use of GRUB, but I don't know where exactly
yet. Does anyone know if GRUB can be used to boot odd-sized large
floppies, and if it can be put onto a DOS or VFAT disk instead of a
ext2fs disk?
Right now, I suspect it is 1) no and 2) yes.
Another question might be: can GRUB be used to boot the CDROM? Don't
know....
Anyone know what the size differences between glibc 2.1 and glibc 2.2
are?
