First things first ... thank you, Charles, for bringing the state of
www.linuxrouter.org to my (and eveyone's) attention.

I try very hard to separate my politics from my technical activity, but
there are some limits I simply cannot cross. Dave's concluding his encomium
with "May his effort not go unfinished" actually scares me, considerably
more than his "Kill a Cop" sobriquet always did. If tomorrow's LRP list
traffic includes people arguing with Dave, you will understand, I hope, why
I am not one of them.

As soon as the official LRP site is back in operation (or, to be realistic,
tomorrow night), I plan to unsubscribe from all its lists. I hope that those
of you who remain on those lists encourage new arrivals to make use of the
LEAF lists, and the LEAF site generally, instead of continuing to rely
solely on the LRP lists and site.
