No.  For clarity, if nothing else, Eigerstein, Dachstein, and any other
direct decendants will stick with the 'old' glibc.

Who knows/cares <sigh>...I think it was Dave C's intention to go to 2.[12]
and a 2.4 kernel with Butterfly...

I think any new LEAF based projects should/will use a newer glibc.  I have
no real preference between 2.1 and 2.2, although I'd probably use the latest
assuming there's no huge size penalty or other problems.

I think packages will begin to be compiled against whatever new glibc
version is used in various distributions...
