I've been working on a busybox 0.52 build for the past few days. I've got
one which I like a lot finally, but I did notice on problem. The gzip.c file
is broken so that it does not recognize '-' as being an indicator to read
from stdin. I edited gzip.c so that the -c option explicitly turns on
reading from stdin as well as writing to stdout, however I realize that this
is not the best solution to this problem. It did fix the problem of the
apkg.sh scripts failing, but I was hoping someone on this list might be in
contact with the developer of busybox and perhaps could get some insight as
to when the next release will be.
I don't want to build an upgrade package while using a cobbled up gzip, even
if the modification I made was minor.
Any thoughts?
