Another new package now in http://leaf.sourceforge.net/pub/oxygen/packages ... limo.lrp - a more configurable ls One might not think it possible to make ls more powerful, but... limo provides the ability to display much more information (mtime, atime, ctime, hard link count) and to sort on almost anything at all. It also gives you the ability to extract information from a file using a command and put THAT into your listing. Example: want a listing of all files in a directory and the count of the lines in each file and their sizes and times? No problem... Some things one might want to do that limo (li) can do that ls can't: * List a file's mtime, atime, or ctimes * Sort by mtime, atime, or ctime * List files by their FULL pathnames (from /) * Redefine (entirely!) default options * List files recursively (but don't traverse from one filesystem to another) It's very interesting; might want to give it a try if you have a need. _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
