I think I found the problem (at least on ONE system). First there are a LOT of messages refering to the device at 02:00 (apparently /dev/fd0). Then there is a slew of messages refering to a device at 03:00 (apparently /dev/hda).
In this system, with this boot, there is no disk in /dev/fd0 and there is an IDE hard drive at /dev/hda, and a CDROM at /dev/hdc. However, the CDROM fails in this environment. The syslinux.cfg on bootdisk.ima says: append= ... BOOT=/dev/fd0,msdos PKGPATH=/dev/hdc:iso9660 ... I also noticed that there is a root.lrp both on the CDROM and in the CDROM boot image - and both are different. I also managed to get the CDROM running on another system; however, it didn't tell me what the password was.... hmmm.... I tried the obvious ("password", "", "secret") with no success. I suspect there's some documentation I should be reading - think I'll go read the "readme" or "readme.1st" file on the CDROM ;) _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
