There is a new development image available for Oxygen/glibc 2.1. Here are some things that are new with this image:
* Configuration file loading fixed (or should be)... * glibc now a package on disk (libc.lrp) * busybox statically linked * now uses fget (statically linked) instead of snarf (for size) * bridge utils removed from the disk (space constraints... sigh) * Potential problem with non-gzip packages fixed * Added timezone data into a new package, and included on boot disk I probably forgot some other things. To Do: * Firm up a version number and fix it throughout * Test non-gzip packages (tar.bz2 anyone?) * Convert to Linux 2.2.20 * Release a RC version for final testing * Convert from rdate to ntpdate, perhaps... Other To Do: * Release new CDROMs - one Oxygen/LRP Resource CD, one suitable for a small CD Note: the use of non-gzip packages is limited to the boot process, and isn't yet supported by apkg at all... Note, too that the busybox date problems have been tracked to uClibc and thus will not be considered an Oxygen bug, nor "fixed" - however, timezone data is now available on the image, and a standard date program will work with these to provide proper timezone information. _______________________________________________ Leaf-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/leaf-devel
