Jacques, It has been a pleasure to be around and involved in the development of Bering. You inspired a proof-of-concept into reality and extended the capabilities where few were inclined to believe may have been possible. Getting a fully working 2.4 kernel OS onto a floppy was the first step, but what I found more intriguing was the amount of hardware and protocol variations that became usable within the framework of Bering. Where most developers tend to get more specilized in a project, you extended the boundries.... That is the inspiration that inspired LEAF and one that I hope continues as time passes on! The documentation that has been provided with Bering sets a de facto standard that I can only hope continues on as well. (Which reminds me.... I've still got some FAQ's to update :) Best of Wishes dear friend! ~Lynn Avants -- ~Lynn Avants Linux Embedded Appliance Firewall Developer http://leaf.sourceforge.net http://guitarlynn.homelinux.org:81 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials.
