I've checked LEAF hostapd - it works on my Gentoo system OK, and as said ldd, it uses libraries from buildenv so if it'll fail on LEAF, it'll mean that trouble is somewhere in kernel config or in non-loaded modules. I still didn't place my WiFi card back to test system, I planned to do this in some days. If somebody didn't tested it before me :) Tonight I'll rebuild all to ensure that there aren't some broken packages during development.
