Hi, I just noticed that a Wireshark trace is showing up Ethernet frames like the following, coming *from* a Bering-uClibc 4 machine: Broadcast AoE Query Config Information Request
I am not that familiar with AoE (ATA over Ethernet), but I'm thinking that I would rather not have it do that - at least not on a firewall. I thought there might be a kernel module I could disable, but no. Confirmation that the code is enabled: # grep aoe /var/log/dmesg [ 0.687768] aoe: AoE v47 initialised. In the kernel .config we have: CONFIG_ATA_OVER_ETH=y Does anybody mind if we make that a module instead? davidMbrooke ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Centralized Desktop Delivery: Dell and VMware Reference Architecture Simplifying enterprise desktop deployment and management using Dell EqualLogic storage and VMware View: A highly scalable, end-to-end client virtualization framework.
