Mike;

I hav ethe impression the Allura replacements are inferior to the hosted apps
and cause a lot of (re)work.

I'd like to see drupal replacing phpWebsite, and I give in for Allura ticket
system to replace Trac, but replacement of mediawiki is *really* painful.
We've put a lot of work in the past years into the wiki and it's layout, and
the Allura wiki is really bad.

Wherever I look, it's looking the wiki looks unprofessional, the navigation is
almost lost and/or cluttered.

As you can see - I do not like it!

If it's possible to maintain our own stuff on the shell - pls let's restore
mediawiki.

If it's too much work to maintain several apps on the shell I prefer mediawiki
in the first place.
I can think of using the Allura blog for announcements, also using Allura
ticket system instead of Trac, and we'll see what can be done with Drupal,
once it's installed -but the wiki we had was in a really good shape , easy to
maintain content wise, good to read - the current one is a quarry.

I'm disappointed that we've put that much work work into documentation, that
targets to help developers and users and once we've finally got something
smooth, allowing to concentrate on the real work - LEAF development - we have
gain to invest a lot of time to get the basics done.
This is no help from SF for developers IMHO.

Sorry, if that sounds negative, but every try to work with Allura's wiki
generates pain and I'm fed up looking into now mangled pages.
